In 2010, Sterling Athletics and Coach Candrea started their strategic alliance with the ultimate goal of offering the highest quality and technologically advanced softballs in the industry. Coach Candrea is considered THE GREATEST softball coach the game has ever witnessed. As the Head Coach for the University of Arizona women's softball team, Coach Candrea has experienced 25 years of excellence. Coach Candrea helped build the first legitimate college stadium for the sport and put the game front and center on national television. Coach Candrea's average record for the last quarter of a century is 53-11. Coach Candrea has won EIGHT NCAA Division 1 National Championships, TEN PAC-10 Conference Championships and turned eighty-six Wildcat players into All-Americans with five players brining home Honda Awards as the National Player of the Year. Coach Candrea served twice as the U.S.A. Head Coach in the Olympics bringing home a gold and silver medal.
